Just watched a Kendo MAtch , Judo Match ,and a few others , i gotta say id
much rather just watch MMA where all the disciplines come together , some
are just way too boring and limited on their own

If his gui is basically out like that, isn’t it harder for the opponent to
    take hold?

  8. Midzono Kobini:

AND PUNCH. B.J.J. AND SAMBO,JUDO THEY ARE NEARLY THE SAME SPORT. I LOVE
JUDO, DO YOU KNOW ALL THE GRACIE FAMILY GOT BLACK-BELT IN JUDO TOO.

  14. Draconis555:

Could any judo practitioner tell me, what does the commentator mean by
‘look at the left leg’ in 7:32? Everything looks very impressive but I
don’t understand what was so great in this particular part of throw.

  15. Lutfi Aqil:

Judo is really for big men. A big man with judo training can usually beat a
small man with the same training. But a small man who is good in judo will
not usually beat a big man who is also good in judo; and if this happens
the small man is exceptional in natural ability reinforced with hard
training. No matter what they will say that judo as the art of giving way
and using the strnght of your opponent, it is obvious that in reality judo
capitalizes on physical strnght back up by technique. I believe that aikido
is a martial resembling judo that really uses technique to overcome
stronger guys. Why don’t aikido uses randori of judo but they should not
hold on the uniforms but capture the arms or the body, like in wrestling,
    to throw their opponent.

  17. MJ QUEEN:

I think JUDO is getting bored.

    FATAL.

  23. Jaden Stapler:

For people that are saying judo sucks, send me a video of you beating a b

  24. live4bass:

the point of judo is to throw the person to the ground with enough force
that if they were waring armor they would not be able to get up, or hold
them down long enough that a fellow solder could come up and stab them. It
comes for ju jitsu the killing arts of japan used in battle and refined so
its a less lethal art but easier to practice and train.

  25. kaizerthetorus:

I thought that knee bars are forbidden in judo!! 0:34 wasn’t that knee bar?
Can anyone tell me if that is legal.
