  9. Charlie O'Charlie:

The naming of the techniques is really cool. While I think this is a nice
effort in some respects, there’s not much Judo in lots of these movies,
when you consider actual Judo in a lot of other older films. Jujitsu, for
sure. The JuJitsu in the first clip from «Flash Point» is cool (Yen worked
out with MMA guys to gather skill for this film). Some really well executed
moves in other clips. To call the silly stuff in the last clip, from Jackie
Chan’s «Gorgeous» is pretty wide reach. Also, FWIW, most of these aren’t
Hollywood movies. And if that’s the case I wonder why films like Hong
    Kong’s (Johnny To’s) «Throw Down», or «Red Belt’, «Blood on the Sun», or
«Tokyo Joe», which specifically deal with Judo aren’t on this clip.

  10. 武 术 狗 水:

Son todas peliculas chinas, con coreógrafos chinos salidos de escuelas de
wushu, por lo tanto es shuai jiao y no judo

  11. R Smith:

Amazing compilation. I appreciate the dedication you demonstrated by going
through the footage and naming the techniques onscreen. This is one of the
most informative videos on YT! While I am a fan of all traditional martial
arts, judo was my «first love» and I am most grateful for this compelling
    work you have created.

  12. ورزش و سرگرمی:

    تکنیکهای جودرو در فیلهای سینمایی

  13. Tasha Aaron:

o-o That last «throw» looks suspiciously… a lot like swing dancing.

  14. Stazzo82:
